help people in any way to better enjoy the time they spend with their dogs.
About the Owner - Kristine Berg
Kristine Berg began a career working with animals in 1977 in Riverside, California. Over the past 33 years, she has worked with animals is a variety of settings and capacities. For example, she has worked as a dog trainer in animal services, cruelty investigation and with various animal shelters.
In 1983 Kristine became involved with the of Schutzhund which consists of obedience, tracking and protection, and competed regularly in conformation (both AKC and German).
She served as Executive Director for an animal shelter in AZ, and worked as a senior Codes Enforcement Officer over animal services in Dorchester County S.C. Her dog training experience includes basic obedience, puppy training, and behavioral modification, along with her training business, she also served as a mentor for the well known Animal Behavior College.
And as a nationally certified cruelty investigator she has always been concerned with the care and safety of animals, she therefore offers her services for little or no fee to rescue organizations and animals shelters. Kristine has also owned and trained the first certified therapy dog in Northern Arizona and has always been involved with educating children on pet safety and animal care.
Later she moved to Bocas Del Toro in Panama to assist the community in education and pet care. While in Bocas she also brought in a veterinarian for quality health care and held spay clinics which drastically lowered the stray population.
She decided to her home in the area of Alto Boquete on the mainland of Panama, where she is now operating a dog daycare and training school. She is offering quality pet care and also group classes including private training in Boquete and David. To add to her expertise, in the near future
Kristine will also be certified as a pet massage therapist. More information about that coming.
